Experience Early Learning Curriculum
At Kiddie Korral 2.0, we use the Experience Curriculum with children beginning around 10–12 months of age to provide meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences that support every area of development. This research-based curriculum encourages learning through hands-on exploration, play, and everyday interactions while building skills in language, literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, physical development, and creativity. Our teachers thoughtfully plan engaging activities that nurture each child's curiosity, confidence, and love of learning as they progress through each stage of early childhood.
Help Us Give Our Children a Brighter Future
At Kiddie Korral 2.0, our mission has always been to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive. Every day, more than 100 children and their families trust us to care for and educate their little ones, and we are committed to providing them with the very best.
One of our biggest current needs is replacing the aging windows throughout our building. New, energy-efficient windows will improve the safety, comfort, and security of our classrooms while helping reduce heating and cooling costs. Every dollar saved on utilities can be reinvested directly into our children, classrooms, educational materials, and programming.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us complete important projects like this. Whether your gift is large or small, every donation brings us one step closer to creating a brighter, more comfortable environment for the children we serve.
If you would like to support our window replacement project, we would be incredibly grateful for your donation. Together, we can continue providing a place where children learn, laugh, grow, and build the foundation for a lifetime of success.
Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the future of our community's children.

Exploration

Think about young children. They touch everything. They want to pick up stuff off the shelves at the grocery store. They want to touch the pretty glass decorations at your neighbor's house. They ask questions: What is that? Who is that? What is that sound? What is that smell? How long until we get there? They "get into" stuff and can, if misunderstood, annoy their caregivers to no end. Young children, like babies and toddlers, are naturally interested in their surroundings. Without this driving curiosity, without this innate need to explore and understand what the environment provides, children would fail to thrive and to learn. Their ability to make connections and sense of their world would be jeopardized and it is plausible to say that their development would be compromised.
Self-discovery

A child who has healthy self esteem is armored against the challenges they will face when they go out into the world. This is because children who feel great about themselves will indeed have an easier time with things such as handling conflicts and overall, enjoying life. Kids who have a healthy level of self-esteem are also likely to be optimistic throughout life.

Educational Toys
The interaction between a child and a toy is about more than just having something to play with. Children become attached to their favorite toys and often reflect their emotional state in the scenarios they create. Whether it is something familiar or completely imaginary, role playing helps kids to realize why they feel the way they feel or act the way they do.
It doesn’t matter if a child decides to pick up a toy and go play with someone their own age or an adult because the scenarios put into action will always teach about cooperation, creativity, and respect. What’s more, it will help with awareness. Familiar situations such as a normal day at home, playing doctor or continuing their favorite story help the child to navigate through different emotions and eventually understand what the appropriate responses are.
Hands-on experience

Being hands-on is especially important in the classroom because it allows students to engage in kinesthetic learning. Studies have shown that kinesthetic learning, where a student carries out physical activities rather than listening to a lecture, is the most popular type of learning with students - 'doing' helps them to gain a better understanding of the material. It allows students to experiment with trial and error, learn from their mistakes, and understand the potential gaps between theory and practice. And most important, it provides educators with a unique opportunity to enrich the minds of their students in new and engaging ways.
Professional staff

Child Care Professionals are devoted to their profession. Kiddie Korral 2.0 maintains high standards of Quality Child Care through consistency and dedication. If our staff is not totally devoted to their profession, they will be unhappy, and it will reflect in their ability to properly care for the children. Childcare is not a highly regarded career by most, so the innovation must come from within us. It takes a sincerely devoted and dedicated individual to become a Childcare Professional. Kiddie Korral 2.0 strives to only hire and KEEP the best staff available!
